–The Khau Pha ParaglidingFestival kicked off in Mu Cang Chai district in the northwestern province ofYen Bai on May 13.

More than 100 paragliders are participating inthe event as part of the Yen Bai Tourism Year in response to the 2017 NationalTourism Year held in Lao Cai and northwestern provinces.

Khau Pha is one of the longest mountain passesin Vietnam, with a height of more than 1,200 meters above the sea level,providing a breathtaking view of stunning natural scenery. It is ratedas one of the four most beautiful paragliding sites in Vietnam and among thetop five most beautiful flying spots in the world.

Jointlyorganized by the People’s Committee of Mu Cang Chai district and HanoiVietwings parachute club, the festival is taking place between May 13-14 andMay 20-21.-VNA

Moscow to host Vietnam Culture Festival for first time

Festival-goers will be treated to performances of Vietnamese water puppetry, enjoy authentic Vietnamese cuisine, and take part in creative cooking workshops. There will be a special art programme which features performances by artists from both countries, showcasing the sounds of traditional Vietnamese instruments.

Photo exhibition highlights Vietnam–Israel cultural ties

Chu Dau pottery wows APEC guests in Hai Phong
