Hanoi (VNA) - The 14th National Assembly (NA) will question cabinetmembers, the Chief Judge of the Supreme People's Court, the Prosecutor Generalof the Supreme People's Procuracy, and the Auditor General of the State Audit Officeof Vietnam.

The question and answersessions will last from October 30 to November 1 as part of the 14th NA’s sixth session.

This is one of the most important activities of the session, attracting theattention of a large number of voters and people across the country as mattersquestioned will be closely related to the people.

The legislature will spendthree days on listening to reports of the abover-mention agencies, and otherquestioned people on the implementation of the NA’s resolution on special supervisionand Q&A activity from the beginning of the NA tenure to its 4th session.

After listening to thesereports, NA deputies will question cabinet members, the Chief Judge of the SupremePeople's Court and the Prosecutor General of the Supreme People’s Procuracy on relevantissues.

Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc will clarify some issues related to the responsibilitiesof the Government, and directly answer questions raised by NA deputies.

In order to strengthen the dialogue and debate in parliamentary activities,this session has continued to maintain improvements and renewal of question andanswer activities which was implemented effectively at the previoussession.-VNA

The dispatch states that in implementing Conclusion No. 18-KL/TW dated April 2, 2026 of the 14th Party Central Committee on the 2026–2030 socio-economic development plan, national finance, public debt management and medium-term public investment, linked to the goal of achieving double-digit economic growth, the Government on April 29 issued 11 resolutions on cutting, decentralising and simplifying administrative procedures, business conditions, and conditional business lines. The Prime Minister subsequently directed ministries, agencies and localities to implement these resolutions.

Vietnamese, Angolan foreign ministers hold talks in Hanoi
