meeting on Dec. 8, which runs for two days in Siem Reap , Cambodia.

meeting on Dec. 8, which runs for two days in Siem Reap , Cambodia.
Participants in the meeting are the four MRC member countries of Vietnam , Cambodia , Laos and Thailand . The Vietnamese delegation is headed by Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Nguyen Minh Quang.
Addressing the opening ceremony, Cambodian Minister of Water Resources and Meteorology Lim Kean Hor said the consultation process on the Sayabury hydroelectric dam project in Laos will be a focus of the meeting.
Results of the major perceived impacts of the project and technical data will also be tabled.
The Minister affirmed the four countries will seek to constructively reach a final decision on the Sayabury hydroelectric dam, based on the spirit of the Mekong Agreement./.
