More remains of Vietnamese soldiers return home from Cambodia

Sixty-eight more sets of remains of Vietnamese soldiers who died in Cambodia fighting to liberate it from the Khmer Rouge have been repatriated, said the Kien Giang provincial Military Command.
Sixty-eight more sets of remains of Vietnamese soldiers who died in Cambodia fighting to liberate it from the Khmer Rouge have been repatriated, said the Kien Giang provincial Military Command.

The remains of the volunteers were found in the provinces of Kep and Kampot by a Vietnamese search team after three months. They will be buried at the local cemetery of martyrs in the coming days.

The search team, K92, has found and brought home more than 1,400 sets of remains of Vietnamese volunteers since 2001. After the Lunar New Year festival, the team will continue searching for the remaining bodies of Vietnamese soldiers in the neighbouring country./.
