- General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) Central Committee To Lam hosted a reception in Hanoi on October 28 for a high-ranking delegation from the French Communist Party (PCF) led by its National Secretary Fabien Roussel.

The delegation is in Vietnam to attend the fourth theoretical workshop between the CPV and the PCF. Read full story

- Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan agreed to elevate the bilateral relationship to a comprehensive partnership at their closed-door talks in Abu Dhabi on October 28, on the occasion of the Vietnamese leader's official visit to the Middle East country.

The UAE leader welcomed PM Chinh's official visit to the UAE, expressing his belief that it will strongly promote, create momentum, and open a new phase of cooperation between the two countries in the coming time. Read full story

- Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh held talks with Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum in Dubai on October 28 (local time) on the occasion of the Vietnamese leader's official visit to the Middle East country.

Chinh expressed his pleasure at re-visiting Dubai - the leading economic and financial centre in the region and the world. He congratulated the UAE on successfully hosting the UN Climate Change Conference (COP28) in December 2023, which made a strong mark in accelerating the implementation of climate goals. - Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh’s participation in the 8th Edition of the Future Investment Initiative (FII) and working visit to Saudi Arabia on October 29-30 form a new and significant milestone in bilateral relations and impetus for ties in the time ahead, said Vietnamese Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Dang Xuan Dung.

He told the Vietnam News Agency that the trip takes place in October, as Vietnam and Saudi Arabia are celebrating the 25th anniversary of their diplomatic relations. The visit reflects the PM’s special attention to the enhancement of connections with Saudi Arabia in particular and Gulf countries in general, as well as Saudi Arabia’s expectations of cooperation with Vietnam.
