Hanoi (VNA) - A total of eight passengers were killed and 25 others injured in an express bus overturn on Myanmar's Yangon-Mandalay highway on March 5, said the country’s Highway Police Office.

The accident occurred at 6am when the high-class express bus travelling from Kale town, Sagaing region to Yangon crashed into the highway guardrails and overturned due to a flat tire. There were 42 passengers aboard at that time.

The crash left some seriously injured who were brought to a nearby township hospital.-VNA
