The National Assembly on June 10 afternoon cast votes of confidence on 47 officials holding positions elected or approved by the legislature.
The confidence votes specify three degrees of high confidence, confidence, and low confidence.
The positions subject to the confidence vote were the President, the Vice President, the NA Chairman, the NA Vice Chairmen/Chairwomen, the NA Standing Committee’s members, the Prime Minister, the Deputy Prime Ministers, Ministers and other members of the Government, the Chief Judge of the Supreme People’s Court, and the General Prosecutor of the Supreme People’s Procuracy.
The result of the vote will be announced at the June 11 morning session and the NA is expected to pass a resolution on the vote of confidence, which will be made public.-VNA
