National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung received the newly-appointed Indian Ambassador Ranjit Rae and said farewell to outgoing Hungarian Ambassador Vizi Laszio, in Hanoi on May 25.

Talking with the Indian diplomat, Hung expressed his delight at growing ties between the two countries since they set up strategic relations in 2007.

Both host and guest agreed on the potential for stronger relations in terms of politics, economy, trade and legislation.

Hung said Vietnam will support Indian enterprises in doing business in the country. The Indian Ambassador affirmed that India will help Vietnam in human resources development, particularly in information technology.

In his reception for the Hungarian diplomat, Hung appreciated the Ambassador’s efforts in elevating bilateral ties and promoting cooperation between the two countries as well as the two law-making bodies.

He affirmed Vietnam ’s policy to develop the friendly and cooperative ties with traditional friends, including Hungary.-VNA
