Vietnam is carrying out judicialreform and it needs to share experiences in the field with internationalfriends, including Hungary, Chairman Trong stated while receiving visitingHungarian Chief Prosecutor Kovacs Tamas in Hanoi on Mar. 16
ChairmanTrong noted that relations between Vietnam and Hungary have developed well andsaid both countries are implementing signed cooperation agreements, including anagreement between the two legislative bodies.
Dr. Tamas assured his hostthat Hungary is keen to strengthen friendship and cooperation with Vietnam . Hesaid his agency is willing to share experiences and cooperate with Vietnam ’sSupreme People’s Procuracy in applying information technology and trainingstaff.
Earlier, Tamas held talks with Tran Quoc Vuong, Director of theVietnam Supreme People’s Procuracy. They briefed each other on the operations oftheir agencies and agreed to speed up the implementation of an agreement onlegal assistance between the two countries.
They also agreed to work forthe signing of a cooperation agreement between their agencies, focusing onscientific research, IT applications and human resources training.
Duringhis stay from March 14-20, Dr. Kovacs Tamas and his delegation will hold workingsessions in Quang Nam province, Da Nang City and Ho Chi Minh City .
Dr.Kovacs Tamas made active contributions to the implementation of the Paris Accordon ending the war in southern Vietnam . He was awarded the Friendship Order bythe Vietnamese State , and the Labour Order by the International Committee onexamining the Paris agreement./.
