Regarding the East Sea issue, Son reaffirmed Vietnam’s policy on resolving disputes through peaceful means on the basis of international law, especially the 1982 UN Convention on the Law of the Sea, asking concerned parties not to use or threaten the use of force, and strictly and fully implement the Declaration on the Conduct of Parties in the East Sea and advance the building of the Code of Conduct of Parties in the East Sea.
During his visit to Malaysia, which started on July 24, the Vietnamese legislator had a working session with Ismail Mohd Said, Vice President of the House of Representatives.
