Lawmakers will vote to approve two resolutions on November 10 as part of the ongoing sixth session of the 15th National Assembly (NA).

Hanoi (VNA) – Lawmakers will vote toapprove two resolutions on November 10 as part of the ongoing sixth session ofthe 15th National Assembly (NA).

The resolutions are on state budget estimate for2024 and on central budget allocation plan for the year.

In the morning, they will opine on proposals andverification reports of the draft Law on Road Traffic and the draft Law onRoad Traffic Order and Safety, and the resolution on the application ofadditional corporate income tax (CIT), under regulations against the erosion ofthe global tax base.

They will then discuss in groups the documents.

In the afternoon, the legislators will scrutinisethe draft Law on Capital City (revised) and the draft amended Law on Archives./.

PM urges choosing optimal solutions to political system re-organisation

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on January 2 chaired the 7th meeting of the Government's steering committee for the review of the implementation of Resolution No. 18/NQ-TW adopted by the 12th Party Central Committee in 2017 which aims to continue reform and re-organise the political system to ensure that it is streamlined and operates more efficiently and effectively.
