Vietnamese Ambassador to Venezuela Ngo Tien Dung has presented his credentials to Venezuelan Vice President Elias Jaua.

At the ceremony on September 19, the ambassador expressed his delight at the fine development in friendship and cooperation between the two countries in recent times.

Dung conveyed State President Truong Tan Sang’s regards and his best wishes to Venezuela ’s President Hugo Chavez, stating that Vietnamese leaders and its people always value the socio-economic achievements recorded by Venezuela and hope the president will visit Vietnam again in the future.

He also pledged to do his utmost during his term to promote comprehensive friendship and cooperation between the two countries.

Vice President Elias Jaua confirmed that the Venezuelan Government and people always attach a lot of importance to strengthening its relations with Vietnam .

He added that his country will create the best possible conditions for Dung to complete his mission in the country, especially boosting the implementation of projects in economics, energy and culture as well as other cooperative agreements signed by senior leaders from both countries.-VNA
