New friendship symbol for Vietnam-Laos ties

At the event, Deputy PM Somsavad Lengsavad affirmed that the works are the new symbol for the special friendship between the two countries, contributing to sustainable Laos-Vietnam relations on the occasion of the 450 th anniversary of Vientiane and the 35 th anniversary of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic.
Being started on Oct.20, 2008 and finished on Nov.12, 2010, the 81 billion VND works were invested by Vietnam’s High Command of Military Zone 4 and built by the Laos’ COECCO construction company./.
