Ambassador of New Zealand to Vietnam Wendy Matthews at a working session with a representative from the Military Hospital 175 (Source http://www.qdnd.vn) Hanoi (VNA) – Ambassador of NewZealand to Vietnam Wendy Matthews on December 4 inspected the English trainingcourse provided by New Zealand for staff of Vietnam’s level-2 field hospitalNo.1 at the Military Hospital 175 in Hanoi.
During her working session with the management of MilitaryHospital 175 under the Ministry of National Defence, the ambassador lauded theexpanding cooperation between the two countries, highlighting New Zealand’sprovision of English training for Vietnamese peacekeeping forces.
She noted that Vietnamese trainees have gained good English skillsand can communicate comfortably in the foreign language.
Since Vietnam and New Zealand signed a memorandumof understanding on cooperation in peacekeeping activities, the New ZealandEmbassy will exert more efforts to promote cooperative programmes and provideassistance to deepen their friendship, she said.
Representatives from the Military Hospital 175shared difficulties in implementing the level-2 field hospital, adding that it willbe ready to deliver humanitarian aid and military medical support at UN missionsites in April 2018.-VNA
