Oman businesses wanted to boostcooperation with Vietnam, particularly in farm produce processing,said Oman Minister of Commerce and Industry Maqbool Ali Sultan.
Duringhis meeting with Deputy Prime Minister Hoang Trung Hai in Hanoi onJan. 11, the Oman minister said he wanted Vietnam to facilitateOmani firms’ operations in the field.
Minister Maqbool Ali Sultansuggested some areas that Oman wants to strongly cooperate in, suchas insurance, real estate and energy.
For his part, Deputy PMHai said Vietnam wished for further cooperation with Oman in oil andgas, agriculture, farm produce processing and power industry.
DeputyPM Hai and Minister Maqbool Ali Sultan affirmed a resolve to continuedeveloping bilateral cooperation in these areas for the benefit anddevelopment of both countries./.
