Outgoing UK Ambassador gets PM’s award

Outgoing UK Ambassador to Vietnam Mark Kent was presented with certificates of merit from Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung and Foreign Minister Pham Gia Khiem at a ceremony in Hanoi on Oct. 25.

Vietnam ’s merit certificates, which were handed over by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pham Gia Khiem, honoured the UK diplomat’s enthusiastic promotion and contributions to friendship and cooperation between the two countries.

Ambassador Kent expressed his sincere thanks to the Vietnamese State and Government for the award and affirmed that he would continue working to strengthen and boost the two countries’ friendship and multi-faceted cooperation./.
