Over 20 kilogrammes of drugs found inside fast-delivery parcels

Customs and police officers in Ho Chi Minh City on November 24 found more than 20kg of drugs of various kinds when checking nine express delivery parcels.

HCM City (VNA) – Customs and police officers inHo Chi Minh City on November 24 found more than 20kg of drugs of various kindswhen checking nine express delivery parcels.

More than 700 grammes of heroin were discovered in cartonboxes registered as containing clothes for shipping to Australia from a person in the city.

The heroin was pressed thinly and placed inside the cartonboxes. The address of the sender was verified as a fake one.

Concerning imported goods packages, methamphetamine and marijuanawere found hidden carefully inside a foot massage machine and gift boxescontaining personal stuff.

The case is under further investigation./.
