Hanoi (VNA) – Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong has sent a message ofthanks to Chinese Party General Secretary and President Xi Jinping, right afterhe concluded a four-day official visit to China on January 15.

In the message,the Vietnamese Party chief appreciated General Secretary Xi Jinping and otherChinese leaders for their warm reception for the Vietnamese high-rankingdelegation.

He said abeautiful China with strong development and hospitable people has left a veryprofound impression on him and other Vietnamese delegates.

GeneralSecretary Trong expressed his belief that positive outcomes of the visit would contributesignificantly to strengthening the friendship, political trust andcomprehensive strategic cooperative partnership between Vietnam and China forthe development of the two nations, for the sake of their people, as well asfor peace, stability, cooperation and prosperity in the region and in theworld.

He wished thatthe Chinese people, under the leadership of the Communist Party of ChinaCentral Committee and comrade Xi Jinping, would reap greater successes in thecause of building a well-off society and developing China into a modern socialistnation with prosperity, democracy, civilisation and harmony.

The VietnameseParty chief also extended his Lunar New Year greetings to comrade Xi Jinpingand other top Chinese officials, wishing them good health, happiness andsuccess.-VNA
