Vietnam’s export value of pepper reached nearly 630 million USD in the first six months of 2024, an increase of over 30% compared to the same period in 2023.
So far this year, Vietnam has shipped abroad over 114,400 tonnes of pepper worth more than 493 million USD, down 13 in volume but up 20% in value over the same period last year.
Vietnam exported over 41,000 tonnes of pepper worth 129 million USD in the first two months of this year, up 35% in volume, but down 7.4% in value over the same period from 2022, according to the Import-Export Department under the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
