Petrol prices decrease slightly in latest adjustment

Since the beginning of the year, domestic fuel prices have undergone 38 adjustments, with RON 95 gasoline rising 21 times and falling 17 times; diesel rising 19 times, falling 18 times, and remaining unchanged once.

Hanoi (VNA) – The retail price of petrol decreased slightly from 3 pm on September 11, following the latest adjustment by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance.

Accordingly, the price of E5RON92 bio-fuel was priced at 19,756 VND (0.75 USD) per litre, down 95 VND from the previous baseline, while that of RON95-III decreased 39 VND to 20,400 VND per litre.

Meanwhile, the price of diesel 0.05S and kerosene were capped at 18,643 VND and 18,368 VND, up 170 VND and 54 VND.

Mazut oil 180CST 3.5S is sold at 15,090 VND per kilogramme, at the highest, down 286 VND.

The two ministries decided not to use the petrol price stabilisation fund for this adjustment./.
