Hanoi (VNA) – The Ministry of Industry and Trade, and the Ministry of Finance decided to reduce retail prices of petrol products from 3 pm on April 10.
Accordingly, the price of E5RON92 was capped at 18,882 VND per litre (down 1,491 VND), while that of RON95-III was 19,207 VND (down 1,712 VND) pẻ litre.
Meanwhile, the price of diesel was adjusted to 17,243 VND per litre (down 1,235 VND), while those of kerosene were 17,413 VND (down 1,322 VND) and mazut 15,902 VND per kilogramme (down 1,124 VND).
The ministries decided not to use the petrol and oil price stabilisation fund.
The price drop followed global oil market fluctuations from April 3 to 9, influenced by the US's tariff hikes, rising crude inventories, and ongoing geopolitical tensions. Average global fuel prices dropped by 9–11% during the period./.
