VinFast launches VF 6 EV with free charging in Philippines

Available in Eco and Plus variants, the VF 6 is priced at 1,419,000 PHP and 1,610,000 PHP, respectively (24,700–28,100 USD), with deliveries of the Eco version set to begin in May 2025.

Hanoi (VNA) – Vietnam’s largest automaker VinFast has unveiled its VF 6 electric SUV at the 2025 Manila International Auto Show in the Philippine, introducing a free charging programme valid until May 2027.

Available in Eco and Plus variants, the VF 6 is priced at 1,419,000 PHP and 1,610,000 PHP, respectively (24,700–28,100 USD), with deliveries of the Eco version set to begin in May 2025.

The compact SUV offers up to 480 km of range per charge (NEDC), powered by a 150 kW electric motor. It comes with a 7-year or 160,000 km warranty and features advanced driver assistance systems.

To boost customer confidence, VinFast is offering a buy-back policy worth up to 90% of the car’s original value. It is also expanding its service network through partnerships with Motech and JIGA, aiming to open over 100 workshops nationwide by the end of 2025.

The new charging network, operated by V-GREEN, is targeting 15,000 ports across the country this year.

VinFast also signed memoranda of understanding with EastWest Bank and BDO to support green mobility and sustainable growth in the Philippines./.

Vietnam’s auto sales hit high gear, surge 47% in March
