Dak Nong (VNA) – A delegation ledby Deputy Secretary of Dak Nong provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the People’sCommittee Ho Van Muoi on April 3 visited Cambodia’s Mondulkiri provinceon the occasion of the Khmer people's Chol Chnam Thmay (traditional new year) festival.

Muoi highlighted that Vietnamand Cambodia share a special bond which has been fostered by generations ofleaders and peoples of the two countries, Vietnam has always attached importanceto the comprehensive cooperation with Cambodia, and leaders of the Vietnameseprovince will always do their best to make the bilateral relationship thrive forthe mutual benefits of the two countries.

Men Ngoy, Vice Chairmanof the Mondulkiri provincial People's Party and Chairman of the Mondulkiri provincial People's Council, thanked leaders of Dak Nong province fortheir support to the Cambodian province and wished the Vietnam - Cambodiafriendship to keep prospering.

He noted that the signing of an agreement onsocio-economic development cooperation between the two provinces in January will continue to contribute to helping the Cambodian locality achieve positiveresults in various fields, including economy - society and security and defense.

On this occasion, the Vietnamese delegation presentedgifts and extended best wishes to the governor, officers, soldiers andpeople of Mondulkirin province./.
