Vietnamese President Truong Tan Sang left for a three-day state-level visit to the Republic of Korea on Nov. 8 at the invitation of President Lee Myung Bak.
The President will also attend the 19th Asia-Pacific Economic Co-operation Summit in Hawaii from Nov. 10-13 at the invitation of the United States President Barack Obama.
The visit to the Republic of Korea and the participation in APEC19 is expected to further strengthen the friendship and strategic partnership between Vietnam and the Republic of Korea as well as prove a manifestation of the foreign affairs policies of the 11th Party Congress with regard to comprehensive and deep international integration, which contributes to the peace, co-operation and development in the Asia-Pacific Region./.
