President Truong Tan Sang on December 2 had meetings with voters inHo Chi Minh City’s districts 1 and 3, during which the votersexpressed their pleasure at the outcomes of the National Assembly’ssixth session with the adopting of the amended Constitution.
They said the revised Constitution with supplemented contents on therights and obligations of citizens, better ensures legitimate interestof citizens.
They also lauded the approval of a number of revised laws, especially the revised Land Law.
In addition, they also pointed out that the NA should strengthensupervision role over some issues like overspending, as well as theresponsibilities of ministers to realise their promises at the NAquestion and answer sessions.
They voiced theirconcern over emerging problems including the rising of crimes, hospitaloverload, doctors’ ethics, environmental pollution, corruption andwastefulness.
They also requested stronger actions to deal with flood from hydropower projects and ensure vaccination safety.
Recognising the voters’ responsible opinions, President Sang expressedhope that each voter will promote their supervision role. He reiteratedthat the Party and State always listen carefully to citizens’ voices.
As a NA deputy, President Sang affirmed thattogether with other deputies, he will do his utmost to improve voter’strust in him.-VNA
