Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung has given the green light to a proposalon a foreign-funded Fulbright University Vietnam in Ho Chi Minh City.
This will be a non-profit tertiary education facility invested by the Trust for University Innovation in Vietnam (TUIV).
The PM assigned the Ministry of Education and Training tocoordinate with other stakeholders to finalise the project and reportback to him for a final decision.
TUIV is a non-profitorganisation established in the US. Thomas Vallely, who isChairman of the organisation, is leading the effort to launch the newFulbright University in Vietnam.-VNA
