Public Security Ministry launches new website

The Ministry of Public Security officially launched its website on August 16.
The Ministry of Public Security officially launched its website on August 16.

The website aims to raise public awareness about the country'sregulations and to keep local citizens up to date about informationrelating to the sector's activities.

"Informationrelated to the sector will be regularly updated to provide viewers withthe latest information, particularly information relating to thesector's activities and the country's policies, regulations and laws,"said Nguyen Duc Dung, head of the website's media centre.

The website would allow people to connect and narrow the communicationgap between the ministry and provincial police. This would in turnsupport the ministry's management activities, said Minister Le Hong Anh.

"The website will serve as an interaction pointbetween police and people because readers will be able to directly raisequestions on the site about law-related issues," Anh said.

Assignment of settlement authority of district-level administrative procedures must be completed before June 10

They are asked to issue legal documents within their jurisdiction to implement cuts and reassign the authority of settlement at the district level. For procedures requiring government decrees, ministries must submit them to the Ministry of Justice for review by May 10, and to the Government for approval by May 30. Progress on the work must be reported to the PM by May 10.
