Hanoi (VNA) – The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate for the US dollar at 24,964 VND/USD on April 10, up 28 VND from April 9.
With the current trading band of +/- 5%, the ceiling rate applicable for commercial banks during the day is 26,212 VND/USD and the floor rate 23,715 VND/USD.
At 8:30 am, commercial banks adjusted their exchange rates significantly.
Vietcombank listed the buying rate at 25,640 VND/USD and the selling rate at 26,000 VND/USD, a sharp fall of 182 VND in both directions from April 9.
BIDV also slashed its USD rates by 212 VND on both the buying and selling sides, listing them at 25,610–25,970 VND/USD (buying–selling), compared to the morning of the previous day./.
