Reference exchange rate up 28 VND on February 12

The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate for the US dollar at 24,550 VND/USD on February 12, up 28 VND from the previous day.

Hanoi (VNA) - The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate for the US dollar at 24,550 VND/USD on February 12, up 28 VND from the previous day.

With the current trading band of +/- 5%, the ceiling rate applicable for commercial banks during the day is 25,778 VND/USD and the floor rate 23,323 VND/USD.

At major commercial banks, the opening-hour rates saw increases.

At 8:39am, Vietcombank listed the buying rate at 25,340 VND/USD and the selling rate at 25,700 VND/USD, both up 130 VND as compared with the February 11.

Meanwhile, BIDV also raised its both rates by 140 VND, listing at 25,350 VND/USD (buying) and 25,710 VND/USD (selling)./.

Ministry proposes developing green e-commerce law
