Da Nang (VNA) – Destroyer Moon Mu The Great and fast combatsupport ship ROKS Hwacheon of the Republic of Korea (RoK) Navy docked at TienSa port on September 7, beginning their three-day visit to the central coastalcity of Da Nang.

The ships, carrying 633 officers and sailors, are led by Rear Admiral YangMinsoo.

This is the first visit to Vietnam by RoK naval ships in 2019. It takes place ata time when the relations between the two nations as well as their defence tieshave been continuously consolidated.

This is also among activities to concretise the agreement between the twostates and defence ministries, contributing to deepening the bilateral defencerelations.

During their stay, the RoK guests will pay a courtesy visit to leaders of themunicipal People’s Committee and Naval Region 3 High Command, join culturalperformances, and visit local tourist destinations.-VNA
