RoK shares experience in scientific communication

the Yonhap New Agency to study their experience in scientific and
technical communication.

At the August 12 session, Youngho Lee, who is charged with international cooperation of KIST, shared the institute’s experience in attracting scientists, researchers and professors, emphasising the government’s care for them in scientific research.
While working with the Vietnamese delegation, Song Byong Seung, an official of Yonhap, said the news agency has taken the lead in updating scientific and technological information.
Yonhap has a division that specialises in translating scientific and technical news in foreign languages to provide information for readers, Song said.
Tran Quang Tuan, Deputy Director of the ministry’s Centre for Scientific and Technological Research and Development, expressed his hope that his centre and Yonhap will reach concrete cooperation in the future./.
