The devastating floods in late August damaged two bridges in Van Luong commune, creating difficulties in daily life for local people. As the new school year begins, every day they have to travel nearly 20 km to take their kids to school.

There are nearly 8,000 residents and 17 administrative areas in Van Luong commune. Most schools and medical stations are on the other side of the river. The broken bridges not only affect daily life but also cause risks for local people.
