Phnom Penh (VNA) – A school for children of overseas Vietnamese (OV) was inaugurated in the Cambodian province of Siem Riep on February 3.

The floating school facility on Tonle Sap lake comprises of two classrooms accommodating nearly 100 students.

The construction cost is funded by the State Commission for Overseas Vietnamese Affairs.

On the occasion, Vietnamese Consul General to Battambang Nguyen Son Thuy presented gifts to 100 poor OVs in the locality ahead of the Lunar New Year (Tet) festival.-VNA
