Singapore launches vaccinated travel lane with Vietnam

As Vietnam is scheduled to reopen its borders for international tourism from March 15, Singapore has decided to launch the vaccinated travel lane with Vietnam, restoring two-way quarantine-free travel.

In an announcement on March 4, the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore said Vaccinated Travel Pass applications for travellers from Vietnam will open at 10am (Singapore time) on March 13.

Short-term visitors and work permit holders eligible to travel on the Vaccinated Travel Pass must apply for a pass to enter Singapore under the vaccinated travel lane.

Fully vaccinated Singapore citizens, permanent residents, all other long-term pass holders and In-Principle Approval holders, and children aged 12 years and below in the calendar year do not need to apply for a pass to enter Singapore under the vaccinated travel lane./.
