Linh, 36, is one of the most influential female singers in the north, producing many popular numbers in the pop, funk and R&B genres. She has been involved in activities to promote RoK cultural values in both countries.
The title was announced at a press briefing in Hanoi on July 26. My Linh said she will try her best to encourage votes for Vietnam 's Ha Long Bay and the RoK's Jeju island among the New Seven Wonders of the World.
The two natural heritage sites have been selected among 28 finalists of the vote, which will be wrapped up on November 11 this year./.
