The Centre on Research of Community Health and Development took this opportunity to present gifts to 245 kids representing their peers under the sponsorship of 27 chapters of the municipal HIV/AIDS watchdog.
The Hanoi Association for HIV/AIDS Control Chairman, Pham Manh Hung, called on authorities and parents of normal children to bring in more opportunities to schooling for the unlucky children.
“So far only a few HIV/AIDS-infected children in Hanoi are given access to schooling while many others have to stay at home or attend separate classes, showing an illegal discrimination,” emphasised the senior expert./.
