Sympathy to Cuba over plane crash

Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong on May 19 sent a message of sympathy to Raul Castro Ruz, First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba over the crash of a plane of the Cubana airline on May 18.

– Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong on May 19 senta message of sympathy to Raul Castro Ruz, First Secretary of the CentralCommittee of the Communist Party of Cuba over the crash of a plane of the Cubana airline on May 18.

The Boeing737-201 aircraft crashed on the way from Havanato Holguin onMay 18 (Cuba time), killing 107 people.

President TranDai Quang and Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc also offered condolences to President of the Councils of State and Ministers of Cuba Miguel Mario Canel Bermudez, overthe accident.

Chairman of theNational Assembly Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan extended her sympathy to President of theNational Assembly of People’s Power of Cuba Esteban Lazo over the loss.

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign MinisterPham Binh Minh cabled his message of sympathy to Cuban Foreign Minister BrunoRodriguez Parilla.

The Cuban government has declared two days of national mourning for victims of the accident.-VNA
