The Thai Government has set up a hotline and a website in a bid toprovide contact details to the members of public affected by thedemonstrators’ seizure of government offices.
ThaiDeputy Prime Minister Pongthep Thepkarnchana said during a meeting withministry representatives that the recent seizures of government officeshave disrupted services provided for Thai residents in many provinces.The public are urged to retrieve information on temporary locations ofgovernment offices via the new 1111 hotline or via w.w.w.1111.go.th.
Radio Thailand , the National Broadcasting Servicesof Thailand and Modernine TV will help broadcast further details on thelatest updates regarding the protests.
Pongthepreiterated that all ministries are open and can offer public servicesdespite the shutdown of some offices by protesters.-VNA
