Airports including Suvarnabhumi Airport, Don Mueang International Airport, Phuket International Airport, Chiang Mai International Airport, Mae Fah Luang Chiang Rai International Airport, and Hat Yai International Airport have launched a parking project for women called ‘Lady Parking’.
This project caters for a single woman travelling with children below 12 years of age. The airport has prepared a special parking area for them. The service will officially begin on August 12.
It is believed the project will increase customer confidence and security, since bright lighting has been installed, CCTV is in operation, and security guards are on patrol at the parking station.-VNA
