Bangkok (VNA/NNT) – The Thai government will pass on the wishes of the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej through the implementation of about 4,000 royal projects to improve the livelihood of the Thai people and global community.

Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha has promoted the implementation of the late King Rama IX’s Sufficiency Economy Philosophy in daily life such as the making of a household list to control spending and increase incomes as well as the participation in the National Savings Fund which helps increase the financial security of families and decrease the inequality of access to the country’s pension system.

The government has successfully promoted the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy during the G77, G20 and ACD meetings on self-reliance, sustainable and balanced grassroots development as well as the environmental conservation and harmonious living with nature through the operation of development study centres from the royal initiatives across Thailand.-VNA
