A total of 337 new businesses were registered in the central province ofThua Thien-Hue during the first nine months of this year, with totalcapital of more than 1.2 trillion VND (58.1 million USD), a year-on-yearincrease of 7.2 percent.
Added to this, theprovince has granted investment licences to 18 new projects withregistered capital rising by 112.4 percent to over 2.1 trillion VND (100million USD). It has also licensed five foreign invested projects, fourmore than the same period last year, worth 41.74 million USD.
The outcome is attributable to an array of dialogues between theauthorities and the business circle via Thua Thien-Hue’s e-portal atwww.thuethienhue.gov.vn. For example, in September more than 200enterprises received advice and legal assistance in tax related issues.
Chairman of the Thua Thien-Hue Business AssociationNguyen Mau Chi said that open dialogue will provide opportunities forbusinesses to raise their voice and submit proposals, so that managerialofficials can timely make adjustments to facilitate their operations.
In the first nine months of 2013, total socialinvestment capital in the locality rose 9.1 percent to 10.2 trillion VND(485.7 million USD), representing 70.3 percent of the set target.-VNA
