Hanoi (VNA) – PartyGeneral Secretary and State President Nguyen Phu Trong received new foreign ambassadors who came to present their credentials, in Hanoi on May 15.

Theywere Ambassador of Oman Saleh Mohamed Ahmed Al Saqri, Ambassador ofTurkey Haldun Tekneci, and Ambassador of Japan Yamada Takio.

The leader spoke highly of the sound cooperative relations between Vietnamand those countries.

Heexpressed his belief that the ambassadors will bring into full play their responsibility andimportant bridging role to nurture and develop relations with Vietnam.

Vietnamis actively taking drastic measures to resume production, develop economy, andimprove local living standards, the leader added, stressing that Vietnam will continue enhancing tieswith other countries around the world with the spirit of being friend of all in theinternational community.

Emphasising the important roles of ambassadors in relations with Vietnam, Trong said the Vietnamese Statealways creates all favourable conditions for them to fulfill their missions./.
