Top legislator pays respect to late predecessor

National Assembly (NA) Chairman Tran Thanh Man expressed his profound gratitude for late NA Chairman Nguyen Huu Tho's great contributions to the revolutionary cause of the Party, the country, and the NA.

HCM City (VNA) – National Assembly (NA) Chairman Tran Thanh Man offered incense in tribute to late NA Chairman Nguyen Huu Tho on the occasion of attending the grand celebration of the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South and national reunification (April 30, 1975-2025) in Ho Chi Minh City on April 30.

Man expressed his profound gratitude for the late leader’s great contributions to the revolutionary cause of the Party, the country, and the legislature.

He said he hopes the late leader’s family will continue promoting the revolutionary tradition, contributing to the construction and development of HCM City, as well as the legislature’s activities, and the country’s development.

Nguyen Huu Tho was born on July 10, 1910 in Long Phu village, Trung Quan district, Cho Lon province, now Ben Luc district, Long An province. At the first session of the 7th NA, he was elected Chairman of the legislative body and Vice Chairman of the State Council./.
