Tourism Authority of Thailand to hold celebration marking 10 million tourist arrivals

As tourist arrivals to Thailand are expected to surpass the ten million mark on December 10, the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) plans to stage the “Amazing Thailand 10 Million Celebrations” to mark the joyous occasion.

Bangkok (NNT/VNA)- As tourist arrivals to Thailand are expected to surpass the ten million markon December 10, the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) plans to stage the“Amazing Thailand 10 Million Celebrations” to mark the joyous occasion.

According to the Immigration Bureau, 9.78 million foreign tourists arrivedbetween January 1 and December 5, 2022, with the number of tourist arrivalsexpected to reach 10 million on December 10.

TAT Governor Yuthasak Supasorn stated that hitting the 10 million visitor markso soon after reopening to international tourism is the result of everyone’sefforts, and the TAT wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude andappreciation to all tourists who visited the country this year.

The “Amazing Thailand 10 Million Celebrations” event will welcome touristarrivals on December 10 at seven major regional and internationals which areSuvarnabhumi, Don Mueang, Phuket, Krabi, Chiang Mai, U-Tapao, and Samui. Itwill also take place at two border checkpoints in Sadao and Nong Khai.

TAT has been actively promoting Thailand as a popular vacation destination invisitor source markets worldwide.
