The General Hospital of the Central Highlands province of Kon Tumand the US-based International Paediatric Specialists Alliance for theChildren of Vietnam (IPSAC) on Sept. 10 signed an MoU on improvinghealth care for local children.
Under the MoU,the IPSAC will help better the hospital’s doctors’ skills in paediatricsurgery, urology, anaesthetic and patient nursing until 2017.
In addition, the alliance will also donate essential medical equipment to the local hospital.
On this occasion, IPSAC specialists also helped Kon Tum’s doctorstreat local children staying at the hospital, transferring severalnormal treatment techniques to them, said Vo Van Thanh, the director ofthe hospital.
To date, 12 patients have registered to be examined and operated by the IPSAC doctors and specialists, added the director.-VNA
