US Secretary of State John Kerry left Washington on October 1, beginning his six-day visit to Asia.

US Secretary of State John Kerry left Washington on October 1, beginning his six-day visit to Asia.

Duringhis visit, he is scheduled to join Defence Secretary Chuck Hagel for2-2 security talks with his Japanese counterpart, Fumio Kishida, andDefence Minister Itsunori Onodera on October 2 and 3 in Tokyo, accordingto the US Department of Secretary’s press release.

The USSecretary will be in the Indonesian island of Bali for the Asia-PacificEconomic Cooperation forum ministerial meeting on October 4, joiningPresident Barack Obama at the APEC summit.-VNA
