VFF Central Committee has two new vice presidents

The 9th-tenure Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Central Committee decided to appoint two new vice presidents at its 8th session held in Hanoi on March 15.

Hanoi (VNA) – The 9th-tenureVietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Central Committee decided to appoint two newvice presidents at its 8th session held in Hanoi on March 15.

Participants agreed on theappointment of Nguyen Thi Thu Ha, member of the Party Central Committee andDeputy Secretary of the Party delegation to the VFF, to the VFF Central Committeeand Presidium. She will serve as Vice President and Secretary-General of the VFFCentral Committee in the 9th tenure (2019 - 2024).

They also supported the appointmentof Hoang Cong Thuy, member of the Party delegation, to the VFF CentralCommittee and Presidium and as Vice President of the VFF CentralCommittee.

Addressing the meeting, Truong ThiMai, Politburo member, Permanent member of the Party Central Committee’sSecretariat and Chairwoman of the Party Central Committee’s OrganisationCommission, thanked the VFF Central Committee for supporting the personnelnominated by the Politburo and the Secretariat.

She expressed her belief that withtheir capability, morality, and experience, the two new Vice Presidents of theVFF Central Committee will make many substantial contributions and fulfill thetasks assigned by the Party, the VFF, and the people./.
