Vietnam is one of the most favourite destinations of Russians for the New Year holiday, according to Maya Lomidze, Director of Association of Tour Operations of Russia (ATOR).

Hanoi (VNA) – Vietnam is one of the mostfavourite destinations of Russians for the New Year holiday, according to MayaLomidze, Director of Association of Tour Operations of Russia (ATOR).

Other popular holiday destinations are Thailand, the UnitedArab Emirates (UAE), Turkey and skiing places in Europe.

Vietnam has welcomed 383,790 Russian arrivals in the first11 months of this year, posting an increase of 129.1 percent against the sameperiod last year, according to the latest statistics of the Vietnam NationalAdministration of Tourism.

The most visited places by Russians in Vietnam are Nha Trangbeach in Khanh Hoa central province, Mui Ne resort in Binh Thuan south centralprovince and Phu Quoc islands in Kien Giang southern province.-VNA
