Vietnam Art Photo Exhibition 2018 opens in Quang Ninh

As many as 245 artistic photos by 192 photographers throughout the country are being displayed at the Vietnam Art Photo Exhibition, which kicked off in the northern province of Quang Ninh on October 30.

Quang Ninh (VNA) – As many as 245 artistic photos by 192photographers throughout the country are being displayed at the Vietnam ArtPhoto Exhibition, which kicked off in the northern province of Quang Ninh onOctober 30.

The exhibition, which is a highlight of a series of culturalactivities in the National Tourism Year 2018 – Ha Long- Quang Ninh, is jointlyorganised by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Vietnam Associationof Photographic Artists, and authorities of Quang Ninh province.

The biennial event aims to introduce to the public, bothlocally and internationally, outstanding works of Vietnamese photographers.

With the main topic of “Ha Long – Quang Ninh – From NewAngles” and free topics, the exhibition received entries from May 2 to July 31.After nearly three months, nearly 10,200 single photos and photo sets by 1,436professional and amateur photographers were sent to the organising board.

The organising board presented awards to 22 short-listedworks in the two categories.

The exhibition, which will remain open to the public untilNovember 8 at Sun World Playground in Ha Long city, is expected to providevisitors with an insight into the land and people of Ha Long – Quang Ninh inparticular and Vietnam in general.-VNA
