Vietnam, China talk closer judicial cooperation

Hanoi (VNA) - Vice President of the Supreme People’s Court of China He Rong and Permanent Deputy Chief Judge of the Vietnam Supreme People’s Court Bui Ngoc Hoa shared experiences in judicial reform and trial experiences during their talks in Hanoi on November 11.

The Chinese Supreme People’s Court leader is in Vietnam for a visit from November 9-12 at the invitation of the Vietnam Supreme People’s Court.

At the talks, the two sides discussed issues related to personnel training and court procedures .

Hoa introduced his guest about the apparatus and operation of People’s Courts at the supreme, provincial and district levels.

He Rong, for her part, said China is speeding up judicial reform, including in court procedures, adding that one of the key tasks undertaken by the Supreme People’s Court of China is building and interpreting laws while directing legal enforcement.

The Chinese court official was received by Chief Judge of the Supreme People’s Court Truong Hoa Binh the same day, who said the visit contributes to further strengthening ties between the two courts.-VNA
